Mario Balotelli was cautioned for complaining to the referee about alleged racist taunts last night in the French league. Nice traveled to Dijon in search of three league points, but the hosts edged out Balotelli and co. 3-2. Though the game was marred following the incident involving the ex-Manchester City and Liverpool striker.After a goalless first half, the second half sparked into life.Julio Tavares gave Dijon the lead on the hour mark though Pierre Lees Melou leveled minutes later. Following the game, Nice coach Lucien Favre and club president Jean-Pierre Riviere expressed their frustration towards the match official.

Rivere said: "It's been four consecutive games that we have the feeling of playing at 11 against 12.

"The differences of refereeing from one match to the other are incomprehensible," he added.

Truly horrific officiating. Disgraceful.
